Thanksgiving 2020
This is just going to be me writing down what we did for Thanksgiving this year. We are cooking a 13.5 lb turkey for the 6 of us. The pumpkin pie, deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail (not included this year), and cranberry sauce were all made ahead of time.
Schedule:
11:45 - Preheat oven to 500F. Start the gravy. Boil the potatoes.
12:15 - Turkey goes in the oven. Reduce temp to 300F.
12:30 - Make the stuffin muffins and put it muffin tins.
13:15 - Preheat toaster oven to 350F. Prep the baked brie.
13:25 - Baked brie goes in the the toaster oven.
13:30 - Make the Succotash.
13:45 - Smash the potatoes. Make the potato butter.
14:00 - Appetizers begin. Stuffin muffins go in the oven.
14:30 - Turkey comes out. Gets tented with foil to rest. Bump oven temp to 425F.
14:45 - Prep smashed potatoes
14:50 - Smashed potatoes go in the oven. Finish making the gravy. Prep the rolls.
15:30 - Rolls go in the toaster oven. (Oops, forgot these. Didn't miss them.)
15:35 - Stuffin muffins go back in the oven to reheat. Green beans get steamed. Reheat Succotash on the stove. Carve the turkey.
15:50 - Dinner begins
18:00 - Dessert begins
