Pastrami "Reuben"
A quick and delicious sandwich
Ingredients:
- Butter
- 2 slices of your bread of choice
- 2 slices of swiss cheese
- 4 oz pastrami
- Mayonnaise
- Sauerkraut
- Yellow mustard
Directions:
- Add a little butter to a pan over medium low heat and allow to melt
- Add one slice of bread and move around to cover in butter. Remove from pan.
- Repeat with other slice of bread, but don't remove.
- Add mayo to slice of bread currently in the pan and then stack a slice of cheese, pastrami, sauerkraut, mustard, second slice of cheese.
- Add mayo to other slice and put on top.
- Cook slowly until underside is well browned, flip and do the same to the other side.
- Allow to cool for 1 minute and then slice (diagonally of course) and serve.
