Cheesesteak Dip
This is an easy Trader Joe's recipe since they sell the thinly sliced steak and roasted red peppers. The shredded cheese can be whatever you want, even cheddar.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound thinly sliced steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 12 oz jar roasted red peppers, diced
- Cherry peppers, diced, to taste
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- ½ pound shredded cheese
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
- Cut the steak into strips
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook until browned
- Remove from pan to a large bowl with cream cheese
- Add butter and onion to pan and cook for 5 minutes
- Add red peppers, cherry peppers, onion, shredded cheese, and Worcestershire sauce to bowl.
- Mix thoroughly and put in an oven safe 1.5 quart container
- Bake in a 400F oven for 20 - 25 minutes until hot and bubbling
