Lenape Cocktail

 

Ingredients:

• 1 mandarin orange or equivalent
• 2 oz bourbon
• 1 oz vermouth
• Cocktail cherry with juice
• Aromatic bitters (I like Fee brothers, but Angostura also works)

Directions

1. Lightly muddle the orange in a double old fashioned glass. You want to extract the juice but leave the orange segments intact so they can re-hydrate with the cocktail
2. Add bourbon, vermouth, cocktail cherry and its juice to taste
3. Add 2 to 5 dashes of bitters to taste
4. Stir constantly for at least 30 seconds
